SHA-256: structure and reduced-round models

You are reading a fixed version. Read the current version

I am studying the SHA-256 message schedule and reduced-round compression models; research notes will appear here as they are ready.

I am looking at the SHA-256 message schedule and models of its compression function with fewer rounds. This project page will collect the results as they are ready.

Each note will name its model, round count and assumptions. A result for a reduced-round model applies to that model; it does not automatically extend to full SHA-256.
