SHA-256: structure and reduced-round models

You are reading a fixed version. Read the current version

Work on the message schedule and compression models with fewer rounds. No results published here yet.

I'm looking at structure in the SHA-256 message schedule and models of its compression function with fewer rounds.

There are no published manuscripts, datasets or reproduction packages for this project here yet. This page makes no claim of a practical weakness in SHA-256.

Any result I publish will state the model, round count, assumptions and exact claim. Results for fewer rounds apply to that model; they do not automatically apply to full SHA-256.
